Hey there

On last check, none of your page is indexed by Google. How long has your site gone live anyway?

Perhaps, you might want to check my post-install to do list. Hope it helps....

Hey Yan.

I've didn't have a clue what the google 'sandbox' meant until I read your article. I believe my site has been sanboxed for some time now, no matter what I try I cant get it to rank well in the SERPs...any advice?

Thanks

Thanks for this post......found it from your post today......i had heard the term 'sandboxed' before, but really had no clue. I hate the solution: to wait!

[...] all about optimizing your keywords in title and blah, blah, blah……. wait till you are sandboxed by Google and SEO becomes a different ball game all [...]

[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The comment's server IP (83.133.127.40) doesn't match the comment's URL host IP (83.133.119.3) and so is spam.

@ Sharon:
Hey girl, all this scares the c*ap out of me and I haven't even written my blog yet. It IS unfair and frankly I don't like it but I suppose there's not much to do about it but play their game.

I'll be checking out your blog as soon as I'm done here, and bookmarking it on Delicious so I can get back to it too.

@ Yan & Zani:

You two are great. That's about all I have to say. Without you two I would be totally lost (which I sort of still am lost) and floundering (not as much as before, anyway). Now I have a sense of direction and a mission in life: To put up my blog, To get it listed on Google; To stay out of the Sandbox; and if I get thrust into the Sandbox, to play nicely there until it is my turn to be excused out into the Play Yard where the big kids play; To (on my honor) always play in the Sandbox or in the "Play Yard" with dignity and with respect for others by not copying anyone else's posts and publishing it as my own. (That one was for Sharon). =)

Happy Blogging to all

a newbie, for sure

@Johnee - The fact is the faster you are on Google page one, the higher your odds of being 'sandboxed'. It's just the way the big G filters out the fresh blog but when you continue to add more fresh and quality contents, you should be out of it pretty soon.

Yeah, I know it's never fun playing in the sandbox but that's just part and parcel of SEO.

BTW, thanks for dropping by and if you are in the mood for contest, don't forget to join us to win some cool prizes.

I put up a new site that I had a lot of content for. I was ranking really well for about a week and then completely lost all rank for keywords. The sand in here is very wet and cold and no fun at all.
