This is a sponsored review of Hosted.org that is based fully on my own opinion and is not biased in any way by being paid.
Upon using Hosted.org file uploading system, I was rather impressed by its seamless process. Their process has a few minor drawbacks; however, I found their service to be more than adequate for the average users needs. Although the site doesn’t state a maximum upload file size on the website, I did not experience any trouble uploading regular sized pictures and other commonly shared files.
The site is simple and straightforward to use, the uploading buttons are on the homepage, so no digging around the website is needed in order to find what you came for. The process is as easy as it can be. No registration is required.
Simply choose the file you wish to upload, click the “Upload” button, and share your file your file. Hosted.org provides a link that can simply be copied and pasted for ease of transmission amongst friends, colleagues, and family.
File Hosting Made Easy
Hosted.org’s service can be used to save a back-up of everything from video of your child’s first time walking to your master’s thesis. From what I tested, all of the most common and practical file types are allowed to be uploaded using the service. Some other file hosting services will restrict some video formats due to legal issues, but Hosted.org doesn’t pass the burden onto you. Instead, they seem to deal will all the hassle behind the scenes while you simply use their service.
If you uploaded a file and decide that you ought not to share the file or you uploaded the wrong one, Hosted.org provides an innovative “delete link.” If you paste this link into your browser, Hosted.org will allow you to delete the file. I personally like this feature because it ensures your privacy and makes using their service safe and effective.
Although they don’t allow simultaneous multiple file uploading, I highly recommend Hosted.org’s file hosting service as an easy, reliable, and free service. It may not have all the bells and whistles as a paid membership file uploading service, but for most user’s needs it gets the job done.

Service is lacking on common details… What are storage limits? Time files stay alive?
Black box – it says what it does but not how it does it.

Nice and clean looking site. It would be nice if they had a bit more information on the site.

@Dennis: You have a valid point – certainly and neither do the majority of us.
There is always scope to improve :)
1. No favicon
2. Logo sucks
3. No contact page
4. Unimpressive design (Have a look at my blog :p)

@Farrhad: With all due respect, we should give it more time to develop the site and yes, there is certainly room for improvement.
Looks like a pretty cool web site. Might have to check it out myself. It is always nice to have places for free uploads. However, these services do not always the last so I don’t wanna put any of my things on someone’s server and then not be able to get them later on down the road. I will probably wait until I make sure that they are going to stay around for a while.

i like that the site doesn’t require registration. but the lack of multiple file uploading will probably be a pain. :O
